There are SO many INCREDIBLE locations to discover on the jap facet of the Sierra Nevadas in California… however, these are positively a few of my favorites!
1️⃣ Brees Lookout – one among the most stellar views and tremendous straightforward to get to for dawn! It’s a part of the Hot Creek Geological Site (the total space is fireplace 🔥 😉)
2️⃣ Crab Cooker Hot Springs (or Hill Top Hot Springs, Wild Willy’s Hot Springs – there’s SO many pure sizzling springs to soak in right here)!! Just sort “hot springs” into Google maps and a ton will present up!
3️⃣ Mono Lake – see one among the oldest and otherworldly lakes in the nation! Its tufa towers are so cool and alien-like! 👽
4️⃣ Bodie State Historic Park – for me, the drive to this deserted mining city is one among the bests! Unnmatched surroundings (and for those who’re fortunate, you’ll get a cloud inversion like we did)!! ☁️
5️⃣ Alabama Hills – I’m obsessive about this place! See insane boulders / rock formations (like Mobius Arch) stretched out beneath the tallest mountain in the decrease 48 states: Mt. Whitney!
6️⃣ Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest – stroll amongst the OLDEST bushes in the world by way of Methuselah path! Then, afterwards, swing by Sierra View Overlook for sweeping, panoramic views!
